RMA Automotive has been engaged by Ford Australia to bring the Ford F-150 to the Australian market in 2023. The vehicles will be imported to Australia in left-hand-drive and remanufactured to right-hand-drive locally to Ford’s high standards.

Aserve Victoria have been directly engaged by RMA Automotive Australia to support their operationalisation of a new 22,000sqm technical development and manufacturing facility at Mickleham in Victoria. The facility will see RMA undertake the engineering and production works of the Ford F-150. The facility consists of:

• Dedicated office workspace
• Vehicle Production Line
• Service and Quality control areas
• Storage

Aserve’s role in the project is to design and construct:

• Power and lighting services to the office areas
• Communications cabling solution including optical fibre backbone cablings and rack layouts
• Production line electrical and communications cabling
• Dedicated cable reticulation design customised to specific production line requirements
• Communications Cabling including Multimode Optical Fibre backbone cabling and Category 6A copper horizontal cabling solution
• Electrical Services of Office power and lighting, Production line power services and Energy control solution for production line heating services
• Custom cable tray solution to production line area

Aserve will complete the project in October 2022.
