The Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) is renowned for developing and training the best athletes in Victoria at their Lakeside Stadium facilities, which provide state-of-the-art training environments for upcoming and elite athletes.

The VIS recently refurbished its Albert Park office, which involved the renovation of three existing floors within the 1926 heritage building. The upgrade will support an increasing number of athletes across a growing range of sports.

Aserve Victoria was directly engaged by VIS to provide the design and construction of the electrical and communications works. The team collaborated with lighting supplier Experience La Luce to design custom LED lighting solutions to fit within the existing space. Aserve also refurbished the power and data in the administration areas to account for the future 100% increase in staff.

The project started in late 2022, with the team working alongside Moda Design to deliver the project in a live environment. The project reached practical completion in early 2023.
